Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of aripiprazole on the treatment of hyperprolactinemia for schizophrenics induced by amisulpride. Methods The schizophrenia patients whose prolactin levelswere above 30ng / L after receivedthe treatment of amisulpride were enrolled into the study. The dose of amisulpride were remained unchanged, and combined with aripiprazole or bromocriptine for 8 weeks. The prolactin concentrations in serum were examined, and observe the clinical symptoms changes for female patients, such as amenorrhea and galactorrhea. Results Both aripiprazole and bromocriptine can reduce the concentration of PRL for patients(P 0.01);Differences between aripiprazole and bromocriptine present no statistically significant(P 0.05);The Dvalue of PRL for male patients was more than that for famale patients(t = 3.251,P 0.01).Both aripiprazole and bromocriptine canrelieveamenorrhea and galactorrhea for some female patients; Conclusions Aripiprazole can be applicated in hyperprolactinemia for schizophrenics induced by amisulpride.
