Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and effects on mother and child of nitrous oxide inhalation in painless delivery. Methods 360 cases of selected vaginal delivery were included in the study of maternal,According to the order of admission, they were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=180).Observation group was given nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia, while the control group was not for painless childbirth. All clinical parameters were observed and compared between the two groups including the degree of labor pain, labor time, mode of delivery, rate of meconium-stained amniotic fluid, apgar score and postpartum hemorrhage, etc. Results The intensity of pain score was significantly lower than the control group and the labor time of the observation group shorter than the control group, the difference was significant(P0.05).There were no significant difference between the two groups on mode of delivery,Rate of meconium-stained amniotic fluid, apgar score and postpartum hemorrhage rates(P0.05).Conclusion Nitrous oxide for painless childbirth with the analgesic effect of maternal, labor time is short, less blood loss, safety,no adverse effects on mother and child benefits,is an ideal labor analgesia.
