The Negative Transfer of the Mother Tongue and English Writing

The linguistic interference of one's mother tongue always poses an obstacle in his way of learning foreign languages. The paper discusses the negative transfer of the mother tongue on foreign language study, especially English writing. The negative transfer of mother tongue should be never neglected and deserved a further studying in teaching and learning.
