Abstract
The major steps and methods for quantitative risk assessment of gas pipeline,including hazard identification,pipeline failure probability analysis,probability analysis of hazardous events,consequence analysis of hazardous events,risk evaluation,importance analysis of risk factors,risk acceptability judgment and presentation of risk mitigation measures,are introduced.The technological process of quantitative risk assessment of gas pipeline is given,and the corresponding software is programmed with Visual C + + programming language and SQL Server 2000 database.The software can be integrated with GIS for gas network,assess failure probability,failure consequence and risk value of gas pipeline,identify main risk factors and offer suggestion on risk mitigation measures.
