Abstract
A taxol-producing endophytic fungus O60B1 was isolated from the inner bark of Taxus x media. It could produce 2.5~3.0 μg taxol per one gram dry weight of mycelium according to determination of high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and mass spectrometry(MS).The fungus O60B1 was defined as Mucor sp.through morphological observation and 18 S rDNA sequence analysis.
