Effect analysis of mini-plate in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal fracture of hand

Objective To discusss the clinical effect of mini-plate internal fixation therapy in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal fracture of hand. Methods From June 2012 to December 2013,96 patients with metacarpal and phalangeal fracture of hand treated in our hospital were selected and they were randomly divided into the study group and control group.The study group was treated with mini-plate internal fixation, the control group was treated with Kirschner wire internal fixation,the treatment effect and the incidence rate of adverse reaction in the two groups were compared. Results The excellent and good rate in the study group(95.83%) was higher than that in the control group(75.00%)(P0.05);the total incidence rate of adverse reaction in the study rate(12.50%) was lower than that in the control group(31.25%)(P0.05). Conclusion Mini-plate internal fixation can improve the function rehabilitation of joint in patients with metacarpal and phalangeal fracture of hand,lower the incidence rate of adverse reaction.It can be used as an ideal method of treatment promoted and applied.
