Abstract

The author reviewed the progress of the Chinese panel industry during the national Eleventh Five-Year(2006 to 2010) Plan period.The author also presented her own perspective about Chinese wood-based panel industry in the coming Twelfth Five-Year Plan Period(2011 to 2015).It was expected the Chinese wood panel industry would focus on enhancement of manufacturing capacity,reduction of carbon emission,development of environmental friendly product,and sustainability.
