Study on Fragmentation Mechanism for Rock Blasting Engineering

Based on the summarization of the blasting theory,the simulation experiment of rock fragmentation in rock blasting and field experiment,the fragmentation mechanism of rock blasting was discussed,the functions of shocking wave,stress wave and blasting gas in the fragmenting process of rock blasting were introduced,the effects of rock properties,explosive performances and designed blasting parameters on the result of rock fragmentation were analyzed. The three functions of millisecond blasting between hole-rows on rock fragmentation were analyzed in detail,a theoretical formula of calculating rational millisecond delay interval was derived. According to results of simulation experiment,the rock fragmentation mechanism of millisecond delay blasting between holes in same hole-row was studied,and some proposals about the selection of rational millisecond delay inter-val were provided.
