Abstract
Spirit has the characteristics of purposeful activity or intentionality.The desired spirit in Chinese colleges has been being sought and demonstrated.It seems that it is Absolutely necessary to have creating spirit,scientific spirit,independent spirit,and experimental spirit.We should be not too positive about the textual meaning and its representation,but count on studying independently and practice in colleges and universities.
