Abstract
It is the important content of building Socialism with Chinese Characteristics to carry forward and cultivate the national spirit and time spirit.Only when we grasp the national spirit in the core of patriotism and time spirit in the core of reform and innovation,can we grasp the soul of the core value system.To comprehend the subject profoundly,we must make clear the questions as follows: What is the scientific connotation of the national spirit and time spirit? What is the dialectical relationship between the national spirit and time spirit? which kind of national spirit and time spirit should we advocate and cultivate and how?
