Abstract

Objective:To investigate the blood uric acid level of Foshan's inhabitants, and to explore the correlation between hyperuricemia and boold biochemical examination, hypertention. Methods:All the clinical data of 13324 Foshan's health physical examination inhabitants were analysed. The health physical examination include to detect blood uric acid(BUA),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr), cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), blood glucose (BG) and blood pressure(BP).Results:The mean of SUA was (349.8±97.6)μmol/L in male and (276.2±84.3)μmol/L in female(P0.05). The prevalence of hyperuricemia was 22.6% in male and 11.6% in female. The blood uric acid level and the prevalence of hyperuricemia in the mail was significantly higher than in the female(P0.05 and P0.001)).The prevalence of hyperuricemia among different age groups was significantly variation(P0.05).The prevalence of BUN, Scr, TC,TG,BS and BP increase was significantly higher in hyperuricemia group than in normal group(P0.05~0.01). Conclusion:The prevalence of hyperuricemia in Foshan was Higher than other districts in China except Taiwan. The prevalence of hyperuricemia was more high by age. There were high prevalence of renal function descent, hyperlipaemia, high blood glucose and hypertension in hyperuricemia group. They should be paid more attention by people extensively.
