Discussion of the Developing Direction of the Switching Engineering

The switching engineering now contains three domains:circuit switching,packet switching and soft switching.In broadband communications,the deficiency of traditional circuit switching is more and more obvious.Along with the development of the communication technology,circuit switching,packet switching and soft switching gradually fuse together.It is an inevitable trend that IP phone replaces PSTN and broadband package switching replaces traditional circuit switching,which makes the soft switching realize.The use of soft switching will change the concept ofr time and space and provide a new value-added and development space for switching developing.
