Abstract

with the development of broad band real-time network operation, Packet Switching characterized by best-effort cannot offer high quality of service (QoS) gradually, integration of Circuit Switching and Packet Switching for complementary advantage becomes the urgent need for network technology development, based on which the paper explore a new method--integration of Circuit Switching and Packet Switching based on TCP Switching. Circuit Switching used in core network for higher utilization of bandwidth and Packet Switching used in edge network for convenience and flexibility compose the network structure, we discussed main problem should be resolved in TCP Switching and procedure of circuit link establishment and deletion by IP routing protocol, also analyzed main function and role of the border router and core switcher, key technology must be studied for implementation of TCP Switching.
