Abstract
Chinese aesthetic consciousness has developed with the direct effect of aesthetic standards and art view from Confucianism,Taoism,and Buddhism.Deeply affected by Chinese aesthetic consciousness,Japan has also taken on various aesthetic sensibility and creativity in reception process.The discussion and the grasp of characteristics and value of the two aesthetic consciousnesses,centering on the effect of Zen,will have positive significance on contrastive studies of Chinese and Japanese cultures.
