Abstract
Firstly, we briefly introduce Einstein's life, especially his years in the Swiss Patent Office at Berne, and draw at least three factors accounting for Einstein's great achievements in science. Second, review and summarize his scientific accomplishment and methods, appraise the theory of Relativity and its philosophic significance, i.e., its important and far-reaching influence to the progress of modern physics as well as the methods of human logical thought.
