Abstract
Based on the components and generation of Municipal Solid Waste(MSW) at Guoqiaowo landfill,IPCC landfill gas generation model is used to predict the gas generation situation for Guoqiaowo landfill after its final cover.By comparison of the gas test results on site with the prediction,a conclusion is made that the proportion of kitchen wastes is high and the degration cycle of MSW is short in this area and that the LFG is not suitable for utilization.
