Abstract
OBJECTIVE To choose the most suitable concentration of Azone as a percutaneous enhancer in Diclofenac Gel preparations.METHODS The in vitro penetration diffusion was studied using improved Franz equipment and rats skin.Sodium chloride injections were employed in the receptor compartments. The penetration absorption of Diclofenac Gel preparations with different concentrations of Azone(0%,1%,2%,3%,5%Azone)were studied.RESULTS During 12 hours, the percentage of accumulative penetration of Diclofenac Gel preparations was 38.42%,62.35%,72.80%, 32.10% and 55.36%,respectively.CONCLUSION The 2% was chosen as the concentration of Azone in the preparation.
