Effects of Dezocine on Epidural Analgesia after Radical Resection for Colon Cancer

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of Dezocine on epidural analgesia after radical resection for colon cancer.Methods 60 patients with radical resection for colon cancer were randomly divided into two groups: Dezocine group(group D) and morphine group(group M);group D: Dezocine 5mg +1% Ropivacaine 10mL add saline to 100mL,(M group);group M: morphine 5mg +1% Ropivacaine 10mL add saline to 100mL.Recoreds the VAS pain score(48h),PCA times and the incidence of adverse reactions.Results There were no statistical significance of the VAS pain score(48h).PCA times(P0.05),compared with Group M,the incidence of adverse reactions were significantly decreased in group D(P0.05).Conclusion Dezocine(0.005%) can be used for epidural analgesia after surgery,the analgesic function with the same dose(0.005%) of morphine equivalent.compared with group M,the incidence of adverse reactions in group D such as vomiting,pruritus,respiratory depression were significantly decreased.
