Effect of Fuerganjianpiruangan Decoction and Its Seperated Decoction on Liver Function in Rats with Hepatic Fibrosis Induced by CCl_4

Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of FuerganJianpiruangan decoction and its separated decoction on liver function in rats with hepatic fibrosis induced by CCl_4.Method: Group the SD rats into eight categories randomly: Normal group,Model group,Jianpiruangan group and its separated decoction group.Copy the model of rats with hepatic fibrosis induced by CCl_4.In the mean time,fill rats stomach with the same dose of Jianpiruangan decoction and its separated decoction.comparing with the Biejiaryangan pills on a daily basis for six weeks.Observe the Serum alanine aminotransamine(ALT),aspartate transamine(AST) activity,the amount of TP and albumin(Alb) levels were determined biochemically;Check the Hydroxyproline(Hyp) using Jamall method.Results: Comparing with the rats in the normal group,the amount of Serum ALT、AST in the model group is increasing substantially.The amount of Alb、 TP is lowering substantially;while the content of Hyp is increasing.After treatment with medication,the liver function and Hyp is improved or lowered at different levels.Jianpiruangan decoction is better than other groups in lowering the activity of Alt and content of Hyp,separated decoction group with the feature of Jianpiliqi can improve the amount of Alb.Conclusion: FuerganJianpiruangan decoction and its separated decoction play a very important role in the improvement of liver function,anti-hepatic fibrosis among these groups.Jianpiruangan decoction is the most effective.
