Abstract

Lowering stainless steel production cost is a key of domestic stainless steel production at present. The smelting of stainless steels in top and bottom blowing combined furnace is a rational choice of lowering steel making procedure cost many developments have been carried out at home and abroad, the smelting of stainless steels in K - BOP of Kawasaki Steel in Japan has been put into operotion,and that in K-OBM furnace of Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co is practicable.
