Clinical Study on Domestic Cefepime in the Treatment of Moderate to Severe Lower Respiratory Infections

Abstract
【Objective】To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of domestic cefepime in the treatment of moderate to severe lower respiratory infections.【Methods】Enrolled 52 patients were randomly divided into two therapeutic groups: domestic cefepime and imported cefepime.Both groups were given drugs intravenously(2.0)g,q12h.The duration of treatment was 7 to 14 days in both groups.【Results】The overall clinical efficacy rate of domestic and imported cefepime group was 70.4% and 72.0%,the bacterial eradication rate was 82.3%、88.2%,and the incidence of adverse reaction was 7.4%、8.0%,respectively.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05).【Conclusion】Domestic cefepime is effective and safe in the treatment of moderate to severe lower respiratory infections.
