'Chuntian No. 1'is a new F1 oriental melon cultivar developed by crossing'Baitangguan'derived inbred'Mu5'as male parent and foreigforeign nvariety derived inbred'Baitang 1'as female parent. It takes 60 days from sowing to harvest in plastic house production. It sets fruit well on lateral branches. The fruit flesh is white and the seed is yellow.The content of VC is about 130.4 mg·kg-1. The total sugar content of flesh is about 13.78%. The soluble solids content of is 12%-13% and the dry matter content is 8%-9%. The average fruit is about 480-520 g. Chuntian No.1 is suitable for protected open field production in Heilongjiang. The shelf life is up to 10 d and resistant to the transport. The variety has good transportation ability.
