Abstract

The two-dimensional Green’s Function of strip theory is used to calculate the fluid potential in this paper. The mooring lines and fenders between two ships are regarded as linear springs. The amplitudes of two ships’ motion in regular waves are obtained by solving equations of two ships’ coupled motion. The statistics of two ships’ motion in irregular waves are calculated by spectra analysis method.
