Clinical analysis of hemoperfusion to rescue acute paraquat poisoning

Abstract
Objective To investigate therautic effect of hemoperfusion to treat acute paraquat poisoning.Methods 27 patients with acute paraquat poisoning(treatment group) were treated by drugs and hemoperfusion controlled with 10 patients(control group) with acute paraquat poisoning not treated by hemoperfusion.The survival time and dead rates were analzyed.Results The survival times of treatment group and control group were 15.5±5.3 day and 7±3.5 day(P0.05).The dead rates treatment group and control group were 88.9% and 92%(P0.05).Conclusion Patients with acute paraquat poisoning treated by drugs and hemoperfusion lives have long survival times and low dead rate.
