Detection of Macrophage and Its Significance in Primary Focus and Lymph Node Metastasis of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the significance and function of infiltration of macrophage by detecting their expressions in primary focus and lymph node metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC).Methods:The expressions of CD68 and CD34 were detected in 42 cases of primary focus,15 cases of lymph node metastasis and 10 cases of normal tissues by immunohistochemical SABC method.Results:The expression of CD68 in primary focus and lymph node metastasis of OSCC was significantly higher than that in normal tissues(P0.01).And the expression of CD68 in lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that in primary focus(P0.01).The expression of CD34 in primary focus was significantly higher than that in lymph node metastasis and normal tissues(P0.01).Conclusion:The expressions of macrophage were different in primary focus and lymph node metastasis of OSCC.It possibly has different effects in primary focus and lymph node metastasis of OSCC.
