Abstract

Timeliness is a key security property of practical non-repudiation protocols.This paper analyzed an existing representative multi-party non-repudiation protocol using formal method and found that it lacks the support for timeliness.Then an improved protocol was proposed which fixes the flaw by both adding extra time limit information into protocol messages and modifying the sequence of protocol steps.
