Influences of comprehensive nursing intervention on prognosis in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and depression

Abstract

Aim To investigate the influence of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and depression.Methods 68 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and depression were randomly divided into conventional group and intervention group,conventional group given only routine care,intervention group given comprehensive nursing intervention.Pulmonary function and depression were evaluated in patients after 12 months.Results Compared with the conventional group,pulmonary function was improved significantly,and HAMD scores were significantly lower than that in the conventional group.Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can improve pulmonary function and depression in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
