Abstract
[Objective]To master the variation of the morphological development indicators of the Mongolian primary and secondary students in Tongliao city,so as to provide scientific basis for the physical health in school.[Methods]Analysis was made on the investigation data of the urban and the rural Mongolian primary and secondary students' height, weight and chest circumference between 1985 and 2005 in Tongliao city.[Results]By comparing the 5 827 surveyed students in 1985 and the 2 990 surveyed students in 2005,the height, weight and chest circumference of the urban and the rural male and female students of all age groups increased significantly. In 2005,the height of the urban 7-year-old,15-year-old and 17-year-old male students was higher than that of the rural's(P0.01);the weight of the urban 9-year-old,15-16-year-old and 18-year-old male students was higher than that of the rural's(P0.01);the height of the urban 7-8-year-old and 16-17-year-old female students was higher than that of the rural's(P0.01);the weight of the urban 8-year-old female students was higher than that of the rural's(P0.01);the chest circumference of the urban 8-year-old and 12-year-old female students was higher than that of the rural's(P0.01).[Conclusion]In 2005,the height and the weight of the urban Mongolian primary and secondary students are higher than the rural's,in Tongliao, compared with those of 1985 increased significantly.
