Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide the basis for Mongolian students' healthy growth in China by analyzing the status of morphological development from 1985 to 2014. The article is carried out by using the method of comparing the 7 to 18 years old students' height, weight, chest circumference and Vic Index in Tongliao City. The results showed positive growth in the status of these students in 29 years. The average height of urban boys, urban girls, rural boys and rural girls increased 5.77, 3.63, 7.00 and 4.52 cm respectively; the average weight of these students increased 9.04, 6.21,6.70 and 4.11 kg respectively; the average chest circumference of these students increased 6.08, 6.10, 6.86 and 7.12 cm respectively. Rural students' height and chest circumference rose more than urban students', but weight gain relative lag. By Comparing the Vic Index, the students' status of body obviously improved. From 2000 to 2014, the morphological growth is far lower than the growth from 1985 to 2000. And the morphological index annual maximum age became younger. The difference between urban and rural students' morphological growth is narrowing.
