Abstract
As a new literary form, the prose poe m, meeting modern psychological demands and aesthetic spirit, was first created in France and was spread and accepted in Europe and America.With the collision of Chinese and Western cultures and the popularity of modern life experiences, the stylistic liberation also propelled the development of the new literary movement in China. The introduction and spread of foreign prose poem not only brought fresh and lively literary style to Chinese literati,but also the literary spirit of freedom, which together set off a move of verse revolution, stylistic liberation and freedom of thought in the literary circle in China, providing powerful ideological support for the creation and development of Chinese prose poem.
