Abstract

In this paper, the experimental research on the effects of various irrigation quota and irrigation frequency of mulched drip irrigation of cotton in Xinjiang on moisture and salt change is carried out.Three irrigation quotas and three irrigation frequencies are set in this experiment. The observation content includes moisture, salt of soil, growth status and yield of cotton. The results show that soil moisture increases with the increases of irrigation frequency;the soil moisture content of the treatment,in which the frequency is 5 days,is in the most appropriate level;higher frequency effectively reduce the salinity of the inside and outside of cotton;under the condition of same irrigation quota, the higher frequency produces higher yield than the lower frequency, and medium irrigation quota produces the highest yield.
