Abstract
【Objective】Based on practically measured data in Baotouhu Farm's cotton field in Korla, this project aimed to research the effects of drip irrigation under plastic mulch of irrigation scheduling on soil moisture and salty change, thus selecting a reasonable drip irrigation system when the total irrigation quota is under certain conditions.【Method】According to the different irrigation quotas, irrigation interval and irrigation times which were based on the same total irrigation quota, the experiment designed altogether 9 treatments which belonged to low, moderate and high salinity cotton fields and each of them had three comparisons. What we needed was to compare the yield of cotton with the irrigation quota and frequency in different treatments.【Result】Under the condition of the same total irrigation quota, the most suitable irrigation system for the low and moderate salinity cotton field would be 450 m3/hm2,7 d and 10 times. The irrigation system of 375 m3/hm2,5 d and 12 times was the best for the high salinity cotton field, because the salinity was the lowest and the cotton yield the highest.【Conclusion】Under the condition of the same total irrigation quota, middle irrigation quota applies to the low and moderate salinity cotton field, while the low irrigation quota and high frequency is good for the high salinity cotton field.
