The Implementation of the iSCSI Protocol Between Different Platforms

Abstract

The Small Computer Systems Interface (SCSI) is a popular family of protocols for communicating with I/O devices.iSCSI presents a mapping from SCSI protocols to TCP/IP protocols to access SCSI storage devices in an IP network. This paper discusses the implementation of iSCSI protocols between Windows 2000 and the Linux environment.
