Abstract
Objective:To establish a gas chromatograph with electron captured detector (GC ECD) assay for the determination of 5 isosorbide mononitrate (5 IM) in human plasma Methods:The plasma levels of 5 IM was analyzed by capillary gas chromatograph with 63 Ni electron captured detector,2 nitro benzene chloride served as the internal standard for quantitation Results:There were good liner correlation in the range of 5 IM 8~800 μg/L (r=0 9945) The extracted recovery was more than 97% and RSD of inter day and intra day were less than 5% Conclusions:The method is simple, accurate and can be used to determine the concentration of 5 IM
