Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the value of color Doppler ultrasonogrphy in the tests of penile hemodynamic(PHD) in patients with erectile dysfunction, and to explore some influencing factors on the accurate diagnosis with the tests. Methods: A total of 179 cases of ED patients were treated with drug-induced erectile of penis, and then were evaluated with CDU tests in terms of cavernosal artery blood flow index, including peak systolic velocity(PSV),end diastolic velocity(EDV),and resistance index(RI).Result: CDU tests indicated 123 patients(68.7%) with non vasculogenic ED,twenty-one patients(11.7%) with arteriogenic ED,and thirty-five patients(19.6) with venous ED.Conclusion: Color Doppler ultrasonogrphy provides a reliable diagnosis for PHD in patients with erectile dysfunction.Penis angiography and cavernosum angiography are needed to determine the specific lesion and the corresponding surgery plan.
