Abstract
Channel equalization can be used to overcome the intersymbol interference.Conventional equalizers generally need the transmission of a training sequence known at the receiver to make equalizer learn the characteristic of the channel.However,this method decreases transmission rate of useful symbols.The blind equalization can solve the problem.This paper presents the signal model of blind equalization,and then does some research and simulations on the Godard algorithm.Finally,the key parameters in Godard algorithm are discussed in the paper.
