Abstract
Blind equalization was an adaptive equalization technique, which could equalize the properties of the channel just using the statistic properties of the received signal and overcome the disadvantages of conventional adaptive equalization techniques which required a training sequence and reduce effective information rate in system transmission. This paper reviewed the blind equalization, and built a simple single-input-multiple-output model.A blind equalization algorithm based on genetic algorithm was proposed. The simulation results showed that the algorithm had better performances.
