Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the prevalence of impaired glucose regulation(IGR)in a large enterprise.[Methods]The fasting blood glucose(FBG)and two hour blood glucose of 1 817 workers were measured with glucokinase method. Then investigated impaired fasting glucose(IFG)and impaired glucose tolerance(IGT).[Results]The incidence of IGR was 3.30%,the percentage of IFG and IGT and IFG/IGT was 0.72%,2.09% and 0.50% respectively.[Conclusion]Active intervention must be done on the IGR to reduce the prevalence of diabetes mellitus(DM).
