Causes and Control Measures of Pollution to Soil and Groundwater in Vegetable System

With various losing ways,the loss amount of nitrogen is great because of the excessive fertilization.Nitrates,which are not absorbed by crop,can easily accumulate in soil profiles,and then cause pollution to the groundwater and soil in vegetable system.In this paper,the current situation of soil and groundwater pollution in vegetable system of China was summarized,and the causes of nitrate pollution were analyzed,and some solutions were proposed including scientific cultivation and management rules,reasonable irrigation methods,balanced application of chemical and organic fertilizers and popularizing new type fertilizer.
