Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of ambroxol in the treatment of children with bronchiolitis. Methods 48 children with bronchiolitis were evenly and randomly divide into two groups. The control group was given the conventional treatment, and the treatment group was treated with ultrasonic atomizing inhalation of ambroxol additionally.Their clinical effect was compared between the two groups. Results The cure rate and the total effective rate were significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05),and the time of cough, wheeze, and moist rales disappeared was obviously shorter in the treatment group than in the control group with statistical significance(P0.05).Additionally,the improvement of the relieve of short breath and heart rate showed no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The ultrasonic atomizing inhalation of ambroxol can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and shorten the treatment course in the treatment of children with bronchiolitis.Besides,it has little side effect.which is worthy of widely clinical application.
