Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of combination of urinary sediment and dry chemistry method for tumor patients with urinary tract infection,to provide basis for clinical diagnosis. Methods 84 cases of urinary cancer patients, who were in our hospital from February 2011 to February 2013. Among them, bladder cancer makes up 49,prostate cancer for 14 and kidney cancer in 11 cases,10 cases of renal pelvis ureter tumor. Using UF-100 and clean middle urine dry chemistry analyzer to detect all patients of white blood cells, bacteria, leukocyte esterase and nitrite. Were performed and the urine bacteria culture and compare the results. Results Quantitative urine bacteria culture positive number was 49, positive rate was 58. 3%. Dry chemistry method to detect high specificity of 93. 2%,but the sensitivity was 31. 2%,compared with the urine bacteria culture, the difference was significant( P 0. 05). UF-100 urine sediment analysis, there are 52 cases were positive by the sensitivity was 81. 8%,specificity of 73. 3%. Combining urine dry chemistry test results for analysis of urine dreg, positive results are for 44 cases, negative result of 40 cases, specificity of 71. 9%,sensitivity was 93. 6%,the quantitative bacterial culture positive cases in 49 cases, negative in 39 cases and there was no statistically significant difference between the quantitative bacterial culture( P 0. 05). Conclusion Combined UF-100 automatic urinary sediment analyzer and urine dry chemistry analyzer using urinary tract infection in patients with diagnosis of tumors can be used as an important auxiliary index, and it has important clinical significance.
