Breeding of Fine Quality Indica CMS Line Shengtai A in Rice

Shengtai A,derived from Yue 4A///Yue 4B/Wulingxiangsi//Yue 4B,is a new indica CMS line with fine grain quality in rice. It is characteristic of desirable agronomic traits,good restorable ability,high combining ability,good flowering habits,relatively good disease resistance and fine grain quality (meeting the 2nd class of national standards for fine quality rice). It was technically identified in Hunan Province in 2009.
