Abstract
Objective The purpose of the study was to analyse and compare with the male and femal of craniofacial hard tissue of Class Ⅱ,division 2 malocclusion of early permanent teeth.Methods The skeletal and dentoalveolar cephalometric characteristics of 30 Class Ⅱ, division 2 patients (15 girls and 15 boys) with a mean age of 12.36 years were described by using computer.Results Compared with the normal occlusion , the results showed that SNB、SL、Co-A、Co-Gn、 Co-Go、 N-Me、 N-ANS、ANS-Me、U1-NA、U1-NA(mm)、L1-NB 、L1-NB(mm)were decreased and ANB、U1-L1 was increased and the difference was significant.Conclusion The major structural features of Class Ⅱ,division 2 malocclusion is posterior mandibular position and mandibular deficiency and craniofacial vertical height decreased.
