The Quality of Life of Patients with Gouty Arthritis in the Chronic Phase with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and quality of life of gouty arthritis in the chronic phase with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Method:110 patients with gouty arthritis from April 2010 March 2013 in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group(n=55) and the control group(n=55),the observation group was given integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,the control was given western medicine,the clinical efficacy,serum uric acid erythrocyte sedimentation rate before and after treatment of two groups were observed and compared,the quality of life of two groups was evaluted.Result:The total effective rate of two groups compared,there was statistically significant difference(P0.05).The blood uric acid and erythrocyte sedimentation rate changes after treatment of two group were compared,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).The quality of life of the treatment group compared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:The gouty arthritis in the chronic phase treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a good efficacy,quality of life in patients with a high score,it is worth to be promoted in clinical practice.
