Efficiency evaluation of agricultural production in Henan Province

Abstract

Using Malmquist model,18 cities in Henan Province were chosen as samples to analyze the trend of TFP on Henan agricultural production efficiency.Analysis was conducted on the intrinsic motivation of agricultural production TPF in Henan province through the research of Malmquist index decomposition.The result shows that technical progress is the main factor that increases Henan province agricultural production TFP,and the technical efficiency does not play a significant role in the growth of TFP.
