Abstract
Thiobacillus ferrooxidans was chosen as the main kind of bacterium in research of gas desulfurization.Thiobacillus ferrooxidans was isolated from acid leach water,through the primary experimental studies on the growth conditions of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans.There are many factors that influence the growth activities of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans,such as temperature,pH and inoculation.We finally summarize that the optimum condition index should be temperature of 30℃,pH about 2.5 and the quality of inoculation 10%.Through the experimental studies on the variation of ferrous ion concentration during the Thiobacillus ferrooxidans growth,and the growth rate equation was established with the change of Fe2+ in culture medium.
