Abstract
Objective To assess the therapeutic effect of percutaneous lumbar discectomy on lumbar disc herniation in adolescents. Methods Twenty-two patients with lumbar discs were treated by percutaneous lumbar discectomy and collagenase treatment of nucleus pulposus dissolved in this study. The retrospective analyses were performed. Results Twenty-one patients were followed 12 months at least. The rate of excellent and good was 88%. Conclusion Percutaneous lumbar discectomy is an efficient means for lumbar disc herniations of adolescent.
