Abstract
Objective The effects of Xiesaitong on deformability and aggregation of human erythrocytes were studied.Methods The heparinized venous blood from normal blood donor was studied in vitro test by pairing.The aggregation and deformabilty of erythrocytes were measured by ektacytometer.Results When erythrocytes were in cubated for 10min at 37℃ with Xiesaitong and normal saline,the velocity of aggregation was much slower in group with xiesaitong than normal saline (P0.01),so was the deformability(P0.01).Conclusion These results suggest that Xiesaitong may decrease the aggregation of the normal erythrocytes.It has beneficial effects for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
