Abstract
Objective To establish an experimental model of osteoblasts of newborn rat in vitro. Methods The skull of neonatal rats within 24 h was obtained and digested by compound collagenase digestion repeatedly. The cells were collected to culture in vitro. The osteoblasts were identified by cell morphology, and their biological characteristic was examined by HE,ALP,type I collagen and calvaria staining respectively. Results The cultured cells were osteoblasts and grew well. The cells were positive by ALP,type I collagen and calvaria staining cells. Conclusion The osteoblasts isolated by compound collagenase digestion have typical biological characteristic of osteoblasts.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
