On the Connotation,Characteristic and Realization Way of University Democratic Management

The paper holds that the university democratic management means the system and practice for university teachers and students,members of various communities and the democratic management organization to exercise the democratic authority for the university public affairs.The university democratic management is characterized by traditional succession,legal stipulation,social impact and subjectival particularity.It should be realized through the teachers' representative committee system,professors' taking charge of academic study,and the roles played by trade union,Communist Youth League and student union.
